One phd-project associated with SPKI got funding from the regional health trust for 2023.\u00a0 The project is a research initiative sprouting from the collaboration between the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN), The Arctic University of Norway – UiT, SPKI and the Centre for research-based innovation Visual Intelligence. We plan an exciting 6-year 50% PhD for a clinician and have set up a strong interdisciplinary study group that includes regional as well as international researchers in the field.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and patient safety of thyroid nodule diagnostics by developing an artificial intelligence-based clinical decision support (CDS) tool.\u00a0 The project is led by Vegard Brun at UNN.
