The fifth annual MMIV conference, held in collaboration with PRESIMAL, took place in Bergen on December 8-9. The conference’s theme was patient-centered AI and imaging methods that are advancing medicine.
The conference started with a panel debate on patient-centered AI. The panel was moderated by Inge Jonassen (UiB) and Eli Eikefjord (HVL & Helse Bergen) and the panel members were Helga Brøgger, Norwegian Society of Radiology and Norwegian Board of Health Supervision and Leif Oltedal, UiB. In addition, Karl Øyvind Mikalsen, head of department at SPKI, participated in the panel.
One of the main topics for the discussion was how AI-projects can benefit from user involvement.
