PRESIMAL in collaboration with the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (NORA) arranged an autumn research school in Artificial intelligence Methods in Medical Imaging that took place between 14 -16 September 2022 at Solstrand, which is 30 km from Bergen. The venue gathers Norwegians and Nordic researchers, postdocs, and Ph.D. students working with machine/deep learning in medical imaging. From SPKI, our colleague Dr. Ashenafi Zebene Woldaregay has attended and presented a poster abstract about our ongoing research on deep learning-based segmentation and volumetric analysis of neonatal brain MRI for securing the diagnosis of abusive head trauma in children, which is a national multi-center study.
